My first memory writing music was sitting down at my dad’s electric keyboard and just poking around with some chords (pictured above, but not in the forest back then of course).

I didn’t know anything about jazz theory, composition, or chord progressions. But by first teaching myself writing by trial and error, and only afterward pursuing a degree in music, I feel like I accidentally developed a unique voice.

Whether sound design, songwriting, or teaching, I hope I can share my voice and the ideas I’ve picked up along the way with you. And I’m always up for a chat about music!
